The Golf Academy at the Sea Pines Resort offers programs specifically tailored to young golfers 12-18 years of age.
Everyone knows the value of proper training at an early age. Our instructors possess the skills, patience, and a proven technique for building the proper foundation for the young golfers.
Our Director of Instruction Skip Malek spent 12 years as Director of Instruction at the International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA) and is recognized as one of the top junior golf instructors in the Southeast. A majority of the students Skip has worked with, have gone on to play college golf and have earned scholarships in the process.
The academy has two ways to take advantage of our programs. All Juniors accompanied by and adult will receive a 20% discount in our two and three day schools. The second opportunity is to attend one of our week long summer camps. You will receive 15 hours of instruction on the full swing and the short game and an additional 6 hours of on course training.
The camps are limited to 6 students per week to insure quality instruction
for each student. The camps start the week of June 6 and run through the week of August 8th.
The cost is $1295. Camp includes instruction, take home DVD, 16 page
improvement manual, lunch and gift pack.
